Sometimes life throws you punches.

Sometimes life throws you punches. The past few weeks have been filled with happiness, excitement, frustration and anxiety all at the same time.

As my mom always says, "some days you're the bug and some days you're the windshield." This is so true. Sometimes when we are the "bug" its easy to forget about all the other times when we are the "windshield".

One thing is always true..at the end of the day, no matter what...your loved ones are always there. That is such an amazing feeling of comfort and strength.

My mom's side of the family is mostly girls...and I say "girls" because when we all get together it can truly be an out of control "girl" fest. I love these women in my life. (We will soon be adding another little "girl", Olivia.)

Oh, Emily.. how much I love her. What an amazing sister who has been there for me truly through thick and thin. We usually bicker and name call and fight, but its all in loving fun. Everyone needs someone to tell them when they are being a diva or their makeup looks blotchy.
