Hey, let's talk in song lyrics/pictures.

When I was in highschool, my friend Whitney and I used to have full conversations in pictures... no text...no words... just pictures. It was soooo much fun. It really is amazing the conversations you can have without even saying any words. I recenly played a modified version of this game where I changed it to.."lets talk only in song lyrics." Equally as fun.. really. (As long as your partner is a legit song lyricist...) Anyways, what does all of this have to do with anything? Nothing...at all. It just popped into my little brain and I wanted to stamp this memory, so I thought posting it on my blog would be the best way to do that.

The past few weeks have been pretty hectic. I know, I know... this is my excuse every time I neglect the blog, but I promise..it's true. I am really working at getting back in the grove of regular posting and already have a few projects that need to be blogged about... get excited. On the other hand... for those of you "old school" blog followers.. I have now sucessfully run the blog for a year now. It has opened me up to some awesome opportunities like the article in the Daily News Journal, Best Buy Wolf Omega Program, awesome projects and lots of new friends/connections with some really awesome people. I am really glad I ventured into this and have loved every step of the way. I am excited to see how things coninue to evolve and change over the next year and beyond.

Now, on to some more fun and important news.. This past weekend was Thanksgiving. I was able to snap a few photos over the weekend.  Here is me and my partner in crime right before me stuff our faces with as much turkey as we can.
At this point I had already been to  3 other Thanksgiving dinners... my belly was about to pop and I didn't think I could manage another bite, but somehow.. I made it work :)

I managed to make the Thanksgiving weekend even more hectic by taking a little roadtrip to Memphrica Memphis Olive Branch Cordova Southhaven (I'm not really sure which one of these locations to claim, so we will take the easy route and go with Memphis.) What a perfect weekend getaway with lots of good friends, food and fun. (Isn't that the Toot's jingle minus the friends part?!)  Big thanks to this sweet girl for a place to crash every time I visit... not to mention all the midnight snacks, rides around town and most importantly, laughs :) She's the best!

Somehow the Christmas tree made its's way up last week also! (More pictures to come later) I had done some "day after christmas" shopping last year at Ray Hines and bought some beautiful ornaments that I completely forgot about until unwrapping them when putting up the tree. It was like an early Christmas! I love having a tree full of ornaments with so much meaning. Each and every one of these ornaments have a special meaning behind them. They were either passed down, hand made or bought on a fun family trip. It really makes the holidays more special when you glance over at one of these and the nostalgia comes over you.

Yes, that's ESPN on the TV- don't judge me.

After a rainy, cold and long drive home from Memphis I was able to spend plenty of quality time with my iPod. There is just nothing like finding a playlist entitled "Anna's Jams 04'" Going back and listening to the songs that I thought made the world go round' in 2004 is so incredibly humerous. Yet, somehow I put them on repeat and get super into them while singing/blaring them as loud as possible. One day I'm sure to bust a speaker... or an ear drum.. it's so worth it.

Happy late Thanksgiving to you and yours. I know I definately have ALOT to be thankful for and hope you do as well!
