Cross that off the list.

As many of you know, I have been reading "The Happiness Project" by Gretchen Rubin. (It's a great read, you should check it out!! ) In the book, Gretchen outlines several tips that will help boost your happiness levels. The entire book focuses on goals, resolutions and activities that you can do that will help boost your happiness, and I must admit that it works! Even the smallest things that you may never think would make such an impact can really change your outlook.

You may or may have not noticed I added a tab at the top titled "To-Do". This is a list of things I want to accomplish. Some are very small tasks and some are a little bigger. It's an ever-changing list that I hope to constantly add to and cross off. Recently I crossed an item off the list. I ordered a t-shirt quilt. Last April (almost a year ago) I ran the Country Music Marathon and received a flyer in my packet from Campus Quilt Company. This company takes your old t-shirts, jerseys and sweatshirts and makes them into quilts. It's really an excellent idea and splurge to help preserve your memories that you may have in old highschool t-shirts, sports shirts/jerseys or shirts you received while traveling. Here is a shot of my quilt!

It's great to have this warm and special keepsake and it also feels good to mark this item off of my list! :) I hope to keep this upward momentum and accomplish more items on my list! What's on your list and what are you doing to get some things crossed off? (Big or small)
